The Best Kitchen Tools & Gadgets

I am a kitchen tool junkie. When you’re chopping, pureeing, and grinding it’s important to have the right tool for the job. Having the right kitchen tools also makes cooking faster, easier and fun!

This post contains Amazon Affiliate links to make shopping easy for you. Many of these products I have owned for years, so I can say with certainty that they are quality products that deserve a place on the countertop.

This Cuisinart Food Processor is rated as one of the best food processors available! It is perfect for dicing vegetables, homemade hummus & nut butters, and making perfect pie dough.

Instant Pots are trending now because they have so many functions to make cooking a meal quick and easy. I love my mint green Instant Pot Duo. You will be amazed at all of the things you can make with an Instant Pot. My favorite is spaghetti squash!

I like my appliances in fun colors 🙂 and I like my stand mixers sturdy. This sucker weighs a ton, but it can mix like no other. I’m not sure how I made fresh dough before I got my Kitchenaid Mixer. It is definitely pricey but that’s what Christmas is for. Who needs Christmas?! Treat yourself – you deserve it.

If you don’t have a lot of storage space, this Cuisinart Immersion Blender is a must-have for your kitchen. It chops, blends and whisks. Everything you need to make a great pot of soup or creamy mashed potatoes!

Even though I have a great power blender, I still love my Nutribullet. Low profile on the counter, easy to clean and perfect for blend and go smoothies. In my opinion, my Nutribullet is the best kitchen tool for making oat flour.

Ditch your traditional blender and treat yourself to a Vitamix! This is the most powerful tool in my kitchen. It purees soups to a silky smooth texture, blends ice instantly and pulverizes strawberry seeds in your smoothies (If you have picky kids like me you know how important that is)

Before I married my husband I did all of my cutting and chopping with a paring knife. He came with a great set of J.A. Henckels knives and my life has been forever changed. Now I can julienne and chiffonade with the best of them. Learning proper knife skills is essential to efficient cooking, and this J.A. Henckels International Block Set gives you everything you need to chop like a pro.

Perhaps you don’t need a food dehydrator, but you will be happy you bought one. I use it to make a lot of healthy snacks for my family. Some of our favorite things to make are tofu jerky, kale chips, and dried pineapple. (*see pineapple corer below) The Nesco dehydrator is easy to use and comes with a nifty fruit roll-up tray so you can make fresh fruit roll-ups for the kids.

Small Kitchen Tools With Big Results

If you love fresh pineapple and you don’t own one of these, you have to buy one right now! I was always intimidated by pineapples, but this pineapple corer makes coring a fresh pineapple so easy. In a matter of seconds, you can have fresh juicy pineapple for snacking and dehydrating (*see food dehydrator above)

I use a true Italian level of garlic in everything I cook, so I have owned a few garlic presses over the years. This 2 in 1 garlic press is my favorite because you can mince or slice your garlic. I also like that it comes with a cleaning tool to remove all of the garlic from the press for easy cleaning.

If you love baking, save money and time with silicone baking sheets. They replace parchment paper and cooking spray and make cleaning up super easy.

Cherries are really annoying to pit and you can’t really expect your kids to spit out the seeds without living in constant fear that they are going to choke. This OXO Good Grips Cherry Pitter is the solution. It spits the seeds out for you with minimal mess.

Using a digital food scale while baking is the best. It eliminates the need for multiple measuring cups and gives you more accurate measurements which is important in baking. This one is simple, cheap and easy to store.
